2vxod47 *New Album* Destroid The Invasion If you have not already heard, Destroid is the new mega collaboration led by Canadian bass master Excision, featuring fellow Canadian bass artist Downlink, and drummer KJ Sawka from the electronic rock band Pendulum. They announced their release of their debut full-length album The Invasion. These 10 original tracks are due out May 7 on their own independent imprint Destroid Music.

In The Invasion the guys come out guns fully blazing with an all-star cast of electronic producers and collaborators, including the globally acclaimed Bassnectar, U.K.-based electro/bass artist Far Too Loud, U.S. bass artist Space Laces, Japanese “bass Godzilla” and Rottun Recordings artist Ajapai and dubstep vocalist Messinian.

The trio goes full force in this album with the throbbing, whomping bass of the Space Laces- and Excision-produced tracks “Bounce” and “Funk Hole,” which immediately destroy eardrums. Excision teams with Bassnectar on the hip-hop-tinged track “Put It Down,” which showcases the production prowess from both bass heavyweights; it is sure to please dubstep fans globally as the track quickly accelerates and takes listeners on a ballistic journey from the beginning of the track. Downlink’s track “Activation” blares a rapid fire build with a galactic feel. Far Too Loud joins forces with Excision on the track “Annihilate,” creating an apocalyptic dubstep anthem suitable for the last days of the human race. Messinian lays down his trademark, dubstep-influenced rhymes on the Excision-produced track “Flip The Switch.”
